I am a second-year Ph.D. student at the Theory Group of 🍌UC Santa Cruz where I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Vaggos Chatziafratis. I am interested in understanding the theoretical foundations and mechanisms of self-supervised learning, especially Contrastive Learning.

I used to play in competitive programming (ICPC, and more), although Large Language Models are definitely stronger than me now!
